The Isle Draft

Codenamed the Isle of monster. A jungle-and-monster adventure — the lighter, faster book, set against the heavier fantasy of Blood.

Blood Rethinking

Kings and kingdoms, with a little bit of monsters and magic. This is the one I keep getting pulled back to. It has been through several full iterations — the world rebuilt three or four times over, while the meaning, the principles and the characters stayed exactly where they were.

Built already: languages, games, cities, places, kingdoms. Still open: weapons, means of travel, and the time period.

Glass Galaxy Draft

The space novel. It began as an iteration of Blood, split off into its own thing, and ended up further along than the book it came from. Empire of Glass is the same setting.

The subreddits make this look like a dozen separate projects. It is really three.

The studio name for the monster-catching universe — the games side rather than the writing side.
