Burnout? Whats going on?

I have to admit, I was on a hot streak up until a few days ago making really good progress on the book codenamed the Isle of monster. However my motivations change, and I have slipped from the jungle and monster writing to work on an old project. I don’t know whether its because I am suddenly more inpsired to write about a hero’s journey, or maybe even how a hero fails, but as of yesterday and today I am wanting to revisit a book codenamed Blood. Its more kings and kingdoms and a little bit of monsters and magic, and I truthfully think its a good story. While Isle is a fun adventure, Blood is a fun Fantasy for me. Blood has had several iterations, one of which got split into an entire space themed story that is more fleshed out than Blood is. Blood has been rethought out three or four times, not the meaning or principles, not even the characters, but the world itself. Its hard sometimes to build a beleivable world. I find myself getting frustrated, and taking what works and starting over a lot of times. I have languages, games, cities, places, kingdoms all built for Blood, but I lack other important things like weapons, means of travel? Time period? I will give this some more thought, but honestly I will try to inspire myself to write more on Isle, I just don’t want to write poorly and I tend to write a poor story when uninspired.

Hope to update you all soon, and by you all I mean nobody but myself. This site is just a motivation for myself to write more and continue these projects, and if they do well eventually I’ll probably share this website and blog. We will see…
